He married "Georgia" Rose Anna Barnes February 05, 1824 in what was then called Marion Co, MS. Rosanna Barnes, born Abt. 1809 in NC; died Abt. 1890 in Marion Co, MS. She was the daughter of John Barnes. The school for the children in this family's area was called Lott-Fayard Indian School and there is a reference to it in one of 3 ledger time frames, the one from the last part of the 1800's, with the 2 earlier legers damaged in the basement flood of the Hancock County Historical Society in Bay St. Louis, MS, with the 3rd time frame listing attendees which included the Pearl River Co Lotts.
