- The Rotuli de Dominabus of 1185 records property “Duvercurt” held by “comitissa Juliana…soror comitis Albrici”[1188].
- “Rogerus Bigot comes Norfolchiæ” donated property to Colne priory, for the souls of “Hugone Bigot fratris mei et comitissæ Julianæ matris meæ et Idæ uxoris meæ”, by undated charter, witnessed by “Hugone Bigot filio meo…”[1189].
- The Complete Peerage says that “for the souls of her father and mother and of her husbands Hugh Bigoth and Walkelin Maminot she granted Begham Abbey land in Brockley” but does not quote the original[1190].
- According to the Complete Peerage, she was still living in 1185, citing a grant by “Juliana comitissa” at Dovercourt to Colne Priory, witnessed by “Alberico comite et Alberico filius eius”, adding “which being notified to Gilbert Bishop of London was not later than 1189”[1191].
m firstly (annulled) as his first wife, HUGH Bigod, son of ROGER Bigod of Earsham, Suffolk & his second wife Alice de Tosny ([1095]-before 9 Mar 1177). King Stephen created him Earl of Norfolk in [Dec 1140/Jan 1141].
Earl Hugh & his first wife had one child:
1. ROGER Bigod (-1221 before 2 Aug). Robert of Torigny records the death in 1177 of "Hugo Bigot comes" and that he was succeeded by "Rogerius filius eius"[783]. He was recognised as Earl of Norfolk 25 Nov 1189. The Red Book of the Exchequer, listing scutage payments in [1190/91], records "Rogerus Bigod" paying "lxii l xii s vi d" in Norfolk, Suffolk[784]. “Rogerus Bigot comes Norfolchiæ” donated property to Colne priory, for the souls of “Hugone Bigot fratris mei et comitissæ Julianæ matris meæ et Idæ uxoris meæ”, by undated charter, witnessed by “Hugone Bigot filio meo…”[785]. The Liber Vitæ of Durham lists (in order) "Comes Rogerus Bigot, Ida uxor eius, Henricus capellanus, Hugo, Willelmus, Rogerus, Johannes, Radulfus, G. G. dapifer, Basilia, Maria, Margareta, Ida pueri eius"[786]. m IDA, daughter of ---. The Liber Vitæ of Durham lists (in order) "Comes Rogerus Bigot, Ida uxor eius, Henricus capellanus, Hugo, Willelmus, Rogerus, Johannes, Radulfus, G. Roger & his wife had [seven] children.
m secondly WALKELIN Maminot, son of [HUGH Maminot] & his wife [Emma ---] (-[1155/57]).
Walkelin & his wife had one child: i) WALKELIN Maminot (-[1190]). Military fee certifications in the Red Book of the Exchequer, in 1166, record the names of those providing knights for military service with "Walkelini Mamignot" in Kent[615]. The Red Book of the Exchequer refers to "Walkelin Mamignot xviii l, et de novo i m" in Kent in [1167/68][616]. The Red Book of the Exchequer refers to "Wakelin Mamignot xxvii l, de novo xx s" in Kent in [1171/72][617]. The 1176/77 Pipe Roll names "Walkelinus Maminot" in Kent[618]. The Red Book of the Exchequer, listing scutage payments in [1190/91], records "heredes Walkelini Mamignot" paying "xiv l x s, xxvii milites" in Kent[619].

She was the daughter of Aubrey de Vere II and Adeliza de Clare.1 Juliane de Vere, Countess of Norfolk married Hugh le Bigod, 1st Earl of Norfolk, son of Roger "the Sheriff" le Bigod and Adelicia de Tosny of Belvoir, circa 1149 at England; His 1st.1 Juliane de Vere, Countess of Norfolk died in 1200.

Marriage and family
He married twice.
Before 1140 he married Juliane de Vere (died c.1199) probably born in Essex, England. She was the daughter of Aubrey de Vere II and Adeliza de Clare, the daughter of Gilbert Fitz Richard de Clare, 2nd Earl of Clare. Their marriage was dissolved before 1168. Their son:
Roger Bigod (b. c. 1144-1221).
His second wife was Gundreda Warwick (c.1135–1200), daughter of Roger de Beaumont, 2nd Earl of Warwick. They had two children:

Daughter of Aubrey II de Vere and Adelizade Clare. When the Abbey was destroyed many tombs were removed, mostly the Howard Family tombs. No markers have been found for the Bigod tombs.
