Karl Voldemar Ormisson

ORMESSON (ka ORMISSON), Karl-Voldemar Andrese p, reamees (1919).

VR I/3, nr 2970/18.02.1925 hinnates sõjalisi teeneid, mis Viljandi kooliõpilaste roodu reamees Karl ORMISSON Eesti Vabariigi vastu ülesnäidanud 26. mail 1919 a. Bukke karjamõisa ja Mellini jõe vahel asunud kaevikute ning Volmari (Valmiera) linna valdamisel.

Sündis 28. (vkj 15.) juulil 1900 Viljandimaa Viljandi kihelkonna Pärsti valla Rehkla talu omaniku peres. Õppis Viljandi linna algkoolis ja Viljandi Eesti reaalgümnaasiumis. Vabadussõjas osales vabatahtlikuna 23. detsembrist 1918 Viljandi vabatahtlikkude pataljonis, hilisemas Viljandi kaitsepataljonis ning maist 1919 Viljandi kooliõpilaste roodus. Töötas Teise maailmasõja ajal raamatupidaja ja tõlgina Viljandis. Karl-Voldemar Ormesson suri 7. veebruaril 1955 Augsburgis Lääne-Saksamaal. Maetud Augsburgi kalmistule. I am the oldest of 5 sisters and 3 brothers; am the only blond because my father Karl Ormisson was very blond..one of my grandaughters also has the same platinum hair I had for many long years..my father was an attorney in Estonia as was my adoptive father, Jaak Kotkas...his brother, Villem Ormisson was a very famous painter in Estonia and had painted a " still" of my father; when I visited Estonia, my homeland a few years ago, I bought that painting of my father, another painting of scenery, family photos, (entire Ormisson family including Grandparents, etc.,back to America with me... all this has been very exciting for me since my mom, Laine, is 90yrs old and in good health...she, along with my oldest brother and stepfather came to visit me here in America...a few other sisters with their husbands have also visited along with two of my brothers, alone and at different times...one sister, Evi, is closest to me and call me on a regular basis...it is much cheaper for her to call me that I her..my mother I call at least once a month...so, it all has been just wonderful to go to England when I was working full-time and could afford it..now illness prevents me from getting on a plane and I can't take long trips in a car...by the Grace of God, all has worked out well!:)
