About Katabwe
Katabwe (1723-1834), a Michigan resident throughout her long life, age reported as 111 at death, has no mention on the 1907 Wooster Roll because she lived a century earlier but is the wife of André Chandonnet Aniquiba (c1720-1790). Their son Cheebass (c1750-1827) was the father of Conzaqua Cheebass who, in turn, was the mother of Nanweshmah (1812-1870), a prominent Potawatomi Chief at the time of the 1839 Trail of Death from Indiana to Kansas.
