Katherine Hawte

In 1477 Richard, Duke of Gloucester, afterwards King Richard III, granted her a stipend of 100 shillings per annum for life. The reasons for this are unknown, and it is just barely possible that she was at one time his mistress and the mother of one or more of his illegitimate children (most likely Katherine Plantagenet).
