- During the Revolutionary War, Aaron served as a lieutenant in the Third ("Plymouth") Company of the 24th Regiment. He was killed at the Battle of Wyoming (aka the Wyoming Valley Massacre), Luzerne County, Pennsylvania (see https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Battle_of_Wyoming). About 340 American patriots were killed during the battle or were brutally tortured & massacred after the battle by the Iroquois (who were allies of the British and Loyalist forces).
