About Margaret Hamilton
DAUGHTER OF JAMES HAMILTON OF STANEHOUSE (possibly MARGARET HAMILTON)
According to Lieutenant-Colonel George Hamilton, James Hamilton of Stanhouse: "is said to have had a daughter married to Mungo Lockhart of Cleghorn." The name of this daughter and her mother is not mentioned. He cites Memoirs of the Maxwells of Pollock, 585. [Lieutenant-Colonel George Hamilton, A History of the House of Hamilton (J.
