She was also called Margaret Filia Milonis Margrade Gloecestria.

She took possession of her deceased brother's estates in England in 1165. She held them for some 30 years until she was forced to give up some of these lands to the FitzHerberts (her little sister's family). Margaret and her heirs retained 2/3 of the estates at issue. (source: Earldom of Hereford Charters, David Walker). She received 17 parts from her father Milo's provinces and 3 3/4 parts of her brothers' land in 1166.5 She died in 1197 at age 70 years.
