She died on 22, 28 or 29 July [1349]. Philip le Despenser her son, who died on 22 August [1349], aged 22 years, was her heir. He entered upon no land of hers, because he died shortly after her death, nor took any profits from her lands except from Market Staynton and Alkebarow, which he held, conjointly with Joan his wife, by the said Margaret’s gift. Philip [son of the said] Philip, [aged 7 years at the feast of St. Lucy next, is his] heir. Mentions John de Ros, knight, deceased, sometime husband of the said Margaret.
