John apparently married a 1st wife before 1577-78 by whom he had three children, “Radigone Washborn, daughter of John Washbourne bap. Feb  21st 1579”;  “Daniell, sonne of John Washborn bap. June 17, 1582”;  “Mary, daughter of John Washborn bap. December 7, 1584”.

She may have married Isaacke Averell by 1624, who was named as a son-in-law in the will of her father, but who was not named in the will of his widow, Martha Washborne, in 1625, nor in the will of John Timbrell in 1626,[90] but no marriage record has yet been found for her in Bengeworth or Evesham.
