Mary Jefferson was the daughter of Mary Branch and Thomas Jefferson I (1656-1697) of Henrico County, VA She left a Will dated 29 Oct 1744-Sept 1745.

Thomas Harris married Mary Jefferson in 1689 at Henrico County, VA. Thomas Harris, Sr., (1669-1730) was the son of Major William Harris (1629-1678) and his first wife, Lucy.

• 12) William Harris was a Baptist Minister of "Norwood" Powhatan County, VA, d. 30 Oct 1794 in Powhatan County in his 82nd year, married 1) 06 Dec 1746 Martha Osborne, 2) Elizabeth (Ward) Gaines, widow of Bernard Gaines.
