Mary Evelyn Rutherford

RUTHERFORD, EVELYN LONGMIRE - age 86 of Halls passed away peacefully Sunday, November 23, 2008 at Hillcrest North Nursing Home. She was a member of the Baptist faith. Preceded in death by parents, Obie and Vandilla Longmire; brother, Ralph Longmire; husband of 60 years, O.B. (Briscoe) Rutherford. Survived by son and daughter in law, Olen and Missy Rutherford; grandchildren, Erin, Tyler and Kara Rutherford; brother and sister in law, Otho and Maxie Longmire; nephew, Max David Longmire. Family wishes to thank the staff of the 3rd floor at Hillcrest North Nursing Home for their 2 years of exceptional care. Family will meet 9:45 am Wednesday at Lynnhurst Cemetery for a graveside service at 10: 00 am with Rev. Johnnie Beeler officiating.
