Not the same as Mary Miller
Mary Towneley, baptized at Colne, Lancashire 15 May 1614, was the daughter of Lawrence Towneley,[1] Gent., of Fulshay and Colne, Lancashire, and Jennet Halstead.[2][3]
Mary married Col. Augustine Warner, Gent., of Norwich, Norfolk,[4][5] before 13 May 1638[2] in England.[6] Augustine was likely the son of Thomas Warner and Elizabeth Sotherton.[6] He had immigrated to Virginia aboard the Hopewell in 1628,[2] at age 17, and it is thought that he returned to England sometime between 1635 and 1638 and married Mary. No record is found to determine the date of their marriage.[6] They had one son and two daughters:

There are many on line trees that imply Mary Towneley was married to James Miller. By the dates available that would seem impossible. as far as is known they were the grandparents to the children of Col John "The Councilor" Lewis and Elizabeth Warner.
Mary Towneley 1614-1662 was married in 1638 to Augustine Warner I 1610-1674 and they were the parents of Augustine II who was the father of Elizabeth Warner who married Col. John III "The Councilor" Lewis.
James Miller 1610/20-1657 who was the father of Isabella Miller 1640-1704 who married in 1666 to Major John Lewis II 1633-1689 who were the parents of Col. John "The Councilor" Lewis who married Elizabeth Warner.
If you look at other on line trees you will see they have Mary married to both men and having children with both men at the same time. Also, the marriage and life of Mary Towneley and Augustine Warner is very well documented and she was never married to another man. Mary had 3 children, Augustine Warner Jr 3 Jun 1642 -19 Jun 1681, Sarah Warner 1640-1690 married Lawrence Towneley & a daughter whose name is unknown but married David Cant.
The above comments were found on Mary Towneley's wikitree page Towneley1. There are copious notes discussing this topic.
