Mrs. O. B. Wigley Dies in Kentucky
Mrs. 0. B. (Pearl) Wigley, 78, widow of Judge 0. B. Wigley and a resident of Galveston since 1920, died at 2:50 p.m. Friday in Bradenburg, Ky. Funeral services will be held at 4 p.m. Tuesday in The First Baptist Church of Galvestan. The Rev. Dr. Harold L. Fickett Sr., former pastor emeritus, will officiate. Burial will be in Galveston Memorial Park under direction of J. Levy & Bro. Funeral Home.
Mrs. Wigley was a member of the First Baptist Church and the local art league.
Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Stanley (Rosemary) Knott of Brandenburg and Mrs. Claude Mergele of San Antonio, and two grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Vernon Lock, Preston Shirley, Dr. M L. Ross, 0. A. Wheeles, Earl Logan and Ballinger Mills.
The family suggested memorials be given to the Lottie Moon Christmas Offering for Foreign Missions through The First Baptist Church.
