Go to "Fact and Sources" click on the record, they are half way down the page. Be surprised, see who else is on this page! --- The bottom line reads: Rene Landry (53) and wife Perrine Bourg (no age), Pierre 13, Claude 8. --- Note that Rene (born 1618) and Perrine had a son named Claude. Rene (born 1634) and Marie Bernard also had a son Claude. So we have two Rene’s with 2 sons Claude’s, what a genealogist nightmare! --- This census is year 1671, doing some math we come up with: if you subtract 53 (Rene’s age) from the year 1671, you have 1618, his correct birth year. Then do Claude, age 8, his birth year would be 1663. He is in the 1686 census and has birth year 1663 also. The other Claude (mother Marie Bernard) is in the 1686 census and he also was born in 1663!
