NOTES: it's not clear who Peter Lukszis's biological parents were. His WWII draft registration referred to Anthony Zitkus as a step-brother. The obituary of Rose Zitkus referred to Peter as a step-son. The 1930 census referred to Peter as Peter Zitkus, son of Joseph Zitkus: https://www.familysearch.org/ark:/61903/1:1:XMPT-7YW. Peter's surname might have been incorrect in the census, given other sources, and the relationship to Joseph might have been incorrect.
