RICHMOND CO., VA MGES. Thomas Monteith married by 1737 Phillis Gallop, daughter of Robert Gallop. They had four children. Will of Thomas Monteith was recorded 6 Mar. 1746 (1747), King George Co. Court. By 1755 the widow, Phillis (Gallop) Monteith, married BENJAMIN ELKINS.
