Adulthood
When R' Akiva neared his twentieth birthday, his family desperately needed another source of income, for this purpose R' Akiva left the study halls, the corridors of learning and the walls of knowledge to lend his hand in the market, and so to help support his family marry of the children in a respectable manner.
R' Akiva started working in Budapest, not much time went by, when on the 17th of may 1910 he moved over to 'mini Krakow' -the city of Antwerp, Belgium, where the core of the jewish community were Galicians who worked in the diamond industry which supplied them with a good source of income. The customs of the city were like those of Krakow, hence the name 'mini Krakow' which is where R' Akiva arrived penniless, and was welcomed into the home of his cousin Wolf Kornitzer in 4 Kreefstraat.
Antwerp
For around a year and a half R' Akiva was suggested different matches, until in 5671 he married his wife Sara Chaya daughter on the Dayan in Wurtzburg Rabbi Yissachar Preiss-Prys, the wedding took place on 'lag Baomer' in Wurzburg.
A Short time after his wedding 30 Nov 11 R' Akiva with his wife returned to Antwerp, where he had his source of income -the Borsa.

R' Akiva sat on the board of the 'yesodei hatorah' school while also visiting the school to test the children and to encourage them in their studies and wellbeing, R' Akiva also gave speeches and lectures to children and to teens in the 'Young aguda' program. As soon as the Aguda movement opened a branch in Antwerp R' Akiva became a cherished member in then main assembly.
R' Akiva, his wife chaya and child Yoel were murdered in the holocaust (Auschwitz). After coming to the port to flee the country in the beggining of the war, they realized that the ships had stopped sailing, and had no choice but to turn back -to their ultimate death.
