Origins
Richard was the son of Richard Whittington of Leigh, second son of Guy Whittington MP.[1]
Marriage and Children
The name of his wife is unknown. He had children:
- Isabel Whittington, who married (1) John Rudhale and (2) Walter Horton.[2][3]
In 1538, Isabel Horton filed a lawsuit in her capacity as daughter and heir of Richard Whittington, Esq.[2]
