His Testament Dative

Margaret Crawford, Lady Hunterston, gave up the testament dative of her deceased husband, in name and behalf of her younger children, viz: Jane, Marion, Katherine, Elizabeth and Hugh Hunters. They were confirmed as executors dative by the Commissary of Edinburgh on 1 December 1581 No mention is made of his sons Robert and William.
