About Roger de Mesnilwarin

3. Roger de Mesnil Warin - He is the son of Richard de Mesnil Warin.

Roger - had three sons - William, Wildo and Randle.

Richard de Mesnilwaren and his brother Roger de Mesnilgarin are said to be the sons of Ranulfus de Mesnilwaren. Richard gave the tithes of Blacon to the abbey of St. Werburgh, someitme before 1093, "decimam de Blachenot, de annonâ de piscaria, et de omnibus de quibus decima dari debet : teste Rogero fratre su, & etc." Brother Roger gave Plumley the same abbey sometime before as is shown by "Plumlciam cum Widone filio suo quando factus est monachus. Test. Ranulfo et Williclmo filiis."

According to the "Mainwaring and Trussell of Warmincham" pedigree given by George Ormerod, not only were the witnesses of Roger Mesnilgarin's grant, William and Randle, his sons, but he had another son named Wido who was a monk of Chester abbey before 1119.
