Sarah was the wife of Owen Franklin. Prior to her marriage to him she was apparently married to a Mr. Floid/Floyd and had a child who was named Owen Frankling Floid by him.[1] Sarah was born 1724[2] in Bedford County, Virginia.[3] She died 1794[4] in Caswell County, North Carolina.[5] She was the daughter of William Yates and Mary Tapp.[6]
