About Simon de St. Liz
concerns
From Stirnet's "Temp55" page (link below): "Visitation shows this Simon as Simon de St. Liz, Earl of Northampton & Huntingdon (Geni profile: Simon de Senlis III, 8th Earl of Huntingdon, 5th Earl of Northampdon), showing both that he dsp <died without issue> 1184 and that he had 3 sons. Visitation shows those sons as by Alice de Gaunt (Geni profile: Alice de Gaunt, Countess of Northampton) but, if they were indeed his sons (which we doubt), they must surely have been illegimitate <illegitimate> for The Complete Peerage (Huntingdon) reports that he had only one (legitimate) son, a Simon who dvp <died in the lifetime of his father> young."
