    Sir Alexander Falconer, 5th of Halkerton was born circa 1522 at Halkerstoun, Forfarshire, Scotland.2 He was the son of David Falconer, 4th of Halkerton and Mariot Dunbar.2 A contract for the marriage of Sir Alexander Falconer, 5th of Halkerton and Elizabeth Douglas was signed on 1 June 1543.1 He died on 10 November 1587 at Lethen, Scotland.2
