About Sir Charles Hotham 4th Bt.
Sir Charles Hotham, 4th Bt. was born in 1663 at England the son of Reverend Charles Hotham and Elizabeth Thompson. He married, firstly, Bridget Gee, daughter of William Gee and Elizabeth Hotham, on 9 September 1690 at Bishops Burton, Yorkshire, England. He married, secondly, Lady Mildred Cecil, daughter of James Cecil, 3rd Earl of Salisbury and Lady Margaret Manners, after 1701. He died on 8 January 1722/23.
- He succeeded to the title of 4th Baronet Hotham [E., 1622] in 1691.
- He gained the rank of Colonel of Dragoons.
- He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Beverley.
