About Sir John Gifford Maltravers, of Woolcombe
JOHN MAUTRAVERS, son and heir. In July 1338 he was going beyond seas on the King's service, and in 1344 was granted custody of a manor. In November 1348 he was going abroad again on the King's service with Richard Talbot. He married Gwenthlian. He died v.p., 22 January 1348/9.
