Sir John St. John was born in 1473.2 He was the son of Oliver St. John and Elizabeth Scrope.1 He married Joan Iwardby, daughter of Sir John Iwardby. He died on 1 September 1512.1,2

Sir John St. John was Chamberlain to Margaret, Countess of Richmond.2

Did he have a younger son Oliver who m. Alice Roydon? The Oliver St John who did marry Alice was of Lambeth and his father John St John of Lydiard Tregoze had been chamberlain to Lady Margaret Beaufort, the king's (H VII) mother.
