Sir John de Sutton, III, Lord Dudley

Modern research says Katherine de Stafford died without issue and Joan de Clinton was the mother of his son.

I'm not sure whether Gary Boyd Roberts has picked this up in his latest Royal Descents or whether he's still showing the old line.

• ' Sir John de Sutton was the son of John de Sutton and Isabella de Cherleton.1 He married, secondly, Joan Clinton, daughter of John Clinton.1 He married, firstly, Catherine de Stafford, daughter of Ralph de Stafford, 1st Earl of Stafford and Margaret Audley, Baroness Audley, on 25 December 1357.1 He died circa 1370.1
