William Allen, Jr was born 1671 at Old Field, York County, Virginia the son of William and Judith Bayley Allen, Sr. He married in 1690 in York County, Virginia, Abigail Ann Hudson. He died in York County, Virginia on 21 Septermber 1713 at the age of 42 years.

William Sr died 1677 when his son was only six years old. His mother, Judith re-married William Bayley. When William Allen reached of age he filed suit against his mother for land that had belonged to his father, William Sr. and was awarded two thirds of the land, the other third going to the Judith Bayley, widow of William Allen Sr. William Jr was a planter in York Co.
