Descendant of Malger, Domesday tenant of William de Percy. Nephew and sucessor, by 11669, of Robert fitz Malger, probably son of Robert's brother Malger (see EYC vii, 66-73). Served Henry II as a justice. He died 1189/91 leaving issue Robert and Mauger, who married Agnes, daughter of Walter Polcard of Denton. Roberts' heirs were his daughter Matilda,.....
