Te Koke was a Chief of Whangaroa, Northland. He was born around 1750. From his first wife, Mutunga II, he had two daughters, Turikatuku and Tangihaere, both of which became the wives of the Venerable Chief, Hongi Hika. From his second wife, Nehe, he had a son Ururoa and another child Hau.
