Marriage
The Honourable Graham Christian Crawford married Patrick Bogle of Hamilton's Farm. They are reported to have married at Duddingston in Midlothian on 13 March 1747, The Scots Peerage IV: 177 although a record of the marriage has not been found there. However, a record did survive at Glasgow, her husband's home parish. It reads as follows: "March 13th 1747. Patrick Bogle younger of Hamiltones ffarm in this parish and the Honourable Miss Christian Graham Craufurd daughter lawfull to Patrick late Lord Viscount of Garnock were married day forsaid having been thrice proclaimed in order thrto". The parish clerk who recorded this event evidently felt that Graham was an unlikely given name for a woman and gave precendant to her middle name Christian. He was born on 22 January 1748 and his baptism was registered on 26 January 1748, at Rutherglen in Lanarkshire, Scotland.
