His father Harscoit was a son or nephew of Harscoit to Sancto Jacobo, vicecomes de Saint-Hilaire (q.v.). Father of Alan the Constable,Harscoit, William, Eudo, Ismania, wife of Philip de Burgh, and Theophania, wife first of Picot II de Lacelles and second of Elias fitz Wigan. Founder of Easby abbey (EYC v. p. 89).
