Elenor, dau. of John Eaton who was bapt. 19 Nov. 1598 at Stratford-on-Avon which is 9 miles to the south of Rowington, may have been his dau.; Margery, of Rowington, d testate 1664, left 20s. to "widow Eaton late wife of Thomas Eaton of Hatton." This would be the widow of her late husband's late nephew Thomas Eaton of Hatton. 5 July 1646 - the will of JOHN EATON of Rowington, county of Warwick, yeoman . . . sick in body . . . to be buried in the church or churchyard of Rowington . . . to my grandchild John Wheritt my joined bedstead in the parlor . . . to Elizabeth Wheritt his sister my joined cubbards in the parlor to be delivered to them after the death of Margery Eaton my now wife . . . to said John Wheritt my truckle bed in the parlor . . . to George Smart my malt mill, my heare cloth, my uteing vat & my great chair and coffer in the parlor, the lesser cubbard in the parlor and the tallow in the hall with the benches & wainscotes & other necessaries . . . unto the aforesaid George Smart, Richard Smart and the five children of Jobe Wheritt my brass and pewter . . . to Mossias Smart my little featherbed if he shall come to Rowington within 4 years and the bolsters and blankets belonging to i t . . . to the poor of Rowington 20s. . . . wife Margery sole executrix . . .
