Thomas HORWARTH was born 22/8/1803 Lancashire, UK (son of James HORWARTH and Betty COLLINGE)
Thomas married Elizabeth REDFERN on 22 Sept 1824 at Prestwich, UK ( Occupation shown as Butcher upon children’s christening record)
In August 1827 Thomas was convicted of stealing a cow and was sentenced to transportation for life. He arrived in Sydney Cove on 12/3/1829 on "Waterloo". Whilst he was awaiting transportation, his wife Elizabeth died.
Thomas married Martha POST on 9/12/1835 in Campbelltown and they had the following children
