There is, in general, some confusion in regard to Thomasine and her husband, Edward Frost. They are often mistaken to be Edmund Frost (b. 1610, d. 1692) and his wife, Thomasine.

Biography
Thomasine Belgrave was baptized at Leverington, Cambridgeshire, England; 1 Feb 1561/62.4,5,6,7 She was the daughter of John Belgrave and Joanna Strutt. Thomasine Belgrave married Edward Frost, son of John Frost and Ann Scott, on 26 July 1585 at Glemsford, co Suffolk, England.8,7 Thomasine Belgrave died after 26 July 1616; as she was mentioned in her husband's will.8,7. Her married name was Frost.
NOTE: she should not be confused with Thomasine Clench (wife of immigrant Edmund -- not Edward -- Frost) who reportedly died 13 June 1653, Sudbury, Middlesex, Massachusetts [no death for her is on record].

- Thomasine (bp. 11 Aug 1600-1654), may have married the Immigrant Edmund Rice after her father's 1616 death, when she is still single.

Thomasine Belgrave Frost was still alive 26 July 1616, when husband Edward wrote his will.
Elizabeth Viney found a possible burial for Thomasine on 15 Aug 1621 at Sudbury, Suffolk.[6] Sudbury is only about 6 miles from Glemsford and Stanstead which makes it geographically possible for the time.
Edward left a will in July 1616 at Stanstead which was proved October 4th at the Perogative Court of Canterbury. He names his wife Thomasine, as well as his daughter Thomasine Frost.
