Maria of Bulgaria From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Maria was a daughter of Troian of Bulgaria by an unnamed Byzantine noblewoman descended from the families of Kontostephanos and Phokas. Her paternal grandparents were Ivan Vladislav of Bulgaria and his wife Marija. Her paternal uncles included Presian II of Bulgaria and Alusian of Bulgaria.

Траян е български княз, четвърти син на цар Иван Владислав и царица Мария. Оженен е за неизвестна византийска благородничка и има една дъщеря Мария Българска, омъжена за Андроник Дука. Траян е дядо на византийската императрица Ирина Дукина, жена на Алексий I Комнин.
