He married Margery de Dineley, daughter of John de Dineley and Margaret Downham, in 1357.

Sir Walter Calverley married Joan de Normanville, daughter of Sir John de Normanville, before 1388.

Sir Walter Calverley married Joan Bigod, daughter of Sir John Bigod, Sheriff, Escheator, & Justice of the Peace of Yorkshire and Amy (Anne), in 1401; They had 1 son (Walter, Esq.)[4]

His estate was probated on 18 December 1404.
