In the name of God amen

I William Campbell of Peters Township County of Cumberland and Province of Pennsylvania being old and frail yet through the abundent mercy of Almighty god of sound and disposing mind and memory make this my last will and Testament in manner following.

Imprimis I give and bequeath my soul to god who gave it & my body to the dust from whence it was taken in full Asurance of its Resurection from thence at the last day day Hoping to stand Justified only upon the Prevailing merits and Compleat satisfaction of our lord Jesus Christ first I will and order that all my Just debs be Paid secondly I will that my son James shall have Twenty seven Pounds ten out of the first Payment of my land the Ten out of my fourth the Remainder out of my seventh Payment thirdly I will that my Daughter Margaret Bradner have twenty seven Pounds ten to be Paid out of the first Payment of my land, Ten to be paid out of the fourth Payment & the Remainder out of the seventh fourthly I will that my son William shall have Twenty seven Pounds ten out of the second Payment of my land ten out of the fifth Payment & the Remainder out of the seventh fifthly I will that my Daughter Jane Rankin have five Pounds out of my second Payment of land sixthly I will that my son Andrew have Twenty seven Pounds ten out of my first Payment for land ten out of the fourth & the Remainder out of the seventh Payment seventhly I will that my Daughter Ann have Twenty Pounds fifteen out of my third Payment & the Remainder out of the sixth Payment Eighthly I will that my Daughter Sarah Campbell shall have twenty seven Pounds fifteen out of my third Payment for land the Remainder out of the sixth Payment Ninthly I will that my Daughter Mary McFarland have Twenty seven Pounds ten out of my second Payment Ten out of my fifth & the Remainder out of my seventh Payment of my land Tenthly I will that my son Dougal have the white backed heifer Eleventhly I will that my grand son Edward Speer shall have shall have seven Pounds five out of my second Payment for land & two out of my fifth Payment Twelvthly I will that my Grandson William Speer shall have seven Pound five out of the fifth Payment for land & two out of the sixth Thirteenthly I will that my granddaughter Frances Speer shall have seven Pounds four out of the sixth Payment for land & three out of the seventh Payment likewise that the foresaid Frances Speer have my bed & furniture Likewise I will that my son William shall have all my wearing Aperil Lastly I will that all my moveable Effects be sold at Publick Vendue & that all my Just debts & funeral expences be discharged at the discretion of my Exers. & what Remains to be Equally divided agreeable to their parts above mentioned & I do Constitute John McClelland & Jas McFarland to be Executors of this my last will and Testament In Witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand and seal this sixteenth Day of August one Thousand seven hundred and seventy six.

The within mentioned Robert Kyle & Thomas Kyle the two witnesses to the within Instrument of writing and on their solomn Oaths doth say that they were Personally Present & saw & heard the within mentioned William Campbell make his mark unto & seal & Publish the within Instrument of writing as and for his last Will and Testament & that at the time of the doing thereof he the said William Campbell was of sound & disposing mind memory & understanding to the best of their Knowledge & belief and that their names signed thereto as witnesses is of their own hand writing signed at the same time.
