Wottecowidyer was a Palawa woman (the daughter of Mannalargenna and his first wife)
She was also known as Harriet, Wat and Wot

She was born c1808 at Cape Portland, Tasmania, Australia

Wottecowidyer was abducted by sealer James THOMPSON

Wottecowidyer had a relationship with sealer James THOMPSON ant they had the following children

• 1828 Thomas
• 1829 Mary Ann
• 1831 Charlotte
• a son who died in 1830 in a boat capsize
• a daughter who died in 1830 in a boat capsize
• a child who died aged 6 weeks in 1830

On 11/12/1830 was taken by James PARISH to the Aboriginal settlement

Wottecowidyer was given by James THOMPSON to James EVERETT

Wottecowidyer had a relationship with James EVERETT and they had the following children

• 1835 George married Jane BEETON (12 children)
• 1839 Sarah married Henry BEETON and Charles EVERETT
• 1841 Frances married John MAYNARD (6 children)
• 1841 Rachel married James BEETON

Wottecowidyer had a relationship with John SMITH

Wottecowidyer had a relationship with John Miti MATARRA

She died 1854 at Oyster Cove, Tasmania, Australia
