Not the wife of Theobald le Fleming. Perhaps the wife of William I, 1st lord of Douglas (died c. 1214); not his mother. Likely the sister of Freskin of Kerdal (Freskin de Kersdale, of Moray).
William of Douglas (died c. 1214) was a medieval nobleman living in Clydesdale, an area under the control of the King of the Scots.
"The origins of William are uncertain, the first of the name of Douglas to appear on historic record. He appears as witness to a charter of Jocelin, Bishop of Glasgow in 1174 in favour of the monks of Kelso Abbey, at which time he was in possession of the Lands of Douglas.[1] It seems he was the son of Theobald le Fleming (born 1120, Aldingham Manor, Lancashire, England died 1193, Douglasdale, Midlothian, Scotland) and his wife, the sister of Freskin de Kersdale (of Moray).
But according to Medlands, she is better placed as William de Duglas' wife (a generation later).
The wife of Sir William, 1st of Douglas is not known for certain. His second son Brice was Bishop of Moray. The name of Freskin of Kerdal is listed among the benefactors of the bishop's first cathedral of Spynie whom Brice refers to as uncle, suggesting that his mother may have been Freskin's sister. Although nothing is known of Freskin's ancestry he is supposed to be of the family De Moravia (or de Moray) based on land holdings in Strathnairn. The proper name Margaret is speculative.
William of Douglas may have married a sister of Freskin of Kerdal (Freskin de Kersdale of Moray, de Moravia), a Flemish laird from Moray. He had issue:

[Two probable siblings, parents not identified]:
Kersdale de Moravia was born about 1132. Kersdale married Theobold de Fleming. Theobold was born in 1125, in Aldingham Manor, Lancashire, England.
They had one son: William Douglas.
