This just appeared after I filled in your Join site. My Mother lived in Govan all her life. She never told me info about her family. I searched Family History in Glasgow and told the staff I couldn't find my relations. They said that they must have been born elsewhere. I couldn't understand this as I visited them in Govan. When I went back to work next day, we got a delivery of books with an e-mail. It was from a member of staff from another library, who had taken basic details of my family. She wrote: Marie, I have just sat at my desk and picked up my next data work to go into the computer, I got goosepimples,it was your Family. I found out out that every time my Gran got pregnant. she would go back to Liverpool to have her children. My Gran's Maiden name was Britton. I never knew we had relations in Liverpool, that's why I'm searching for them now, only it's living relatives I'm looking for.
