'Charles Glass, "Haskell" was born in a shtetle in Romania, became a watchmaker there after marrying Rose Helman. They lived in a little vlllage, had two daughters, Clare and Esther. Before WW2 he came to the US and settled in Akron, OH. A year later he brought his wife and children to Akron. He became a jeweler, his buisness named Glass Credit Jewelers located o Arlington Rd in Akron. He bought his 1st house at 832 Packad Dr and later moved to Hardesty Blvd. His oldest daughter, Clare married Marvin Greenbaum and had two sons, Albert and Jack, Esther married Irving Schreiber and they had daughter, Sandra and a son, Arthur. Charles family, parents, sisters and brothers parished in the concentration camps.
