About the Madison surname

I believe Elisha Lewis was married to Frances Madison and then Esther Nelson or vice versa. That is where the Madison name came into the Lewis family. This first Elisha Lewis was my third Great Grandfather. I am in the William Dunbar Chapter DAR under a Felder ancestor and am currently trying to prove

that this Elisha is my G.G.G. Grandfather. I would like to get a pin with his name on it. I have his Revolutionary War record that I sent for long ago. I hope this helps. Sincerely, Verna Wooten Bryant
