I notice that Mary Ann Watson/Whatson had been recorded as being married to John McCaffrey, which I think was the alias of her convict husband Owen Brennan, however the marriage date is not recorded. Whoever put that information in to GENI, may not have known, that the convict Owen Brennan reverted back to his previous name on his marriage and the births of their children. Their descendants, some living at Lithgow use the name Brennan. Also, Mary Ann may not have known that her Watson brothers and descendants used the WHATSON spelling, including my husband's ancestor.
