My Pepper line goes back to Nottinghamshire, England, and the 1500s. The progenitor of the Pepper line in the United States may have been Samuel Pepper (my 8th generation Grandfather)), born in Bingham, Nottinghamshire, England, in 1675, and died in North Carolina , in 1725. His wife was Katherine Amelia Conner, born in 1680 (unknown) and who died in 1758 (whereabouts unknown at this time).
