Abraham's precise year and place of birth is unclear. Abraham's death record suggests he was born in 1833. The 1869 census of Nagykapos says he was born in 1830, and says he was born in "N. Ujvar" (now Güssing). However, the 1835/36 census of Gyöngyös only shows his father having 2 sons, which means that Abraham was likely born sometime thereafter, and also means that Abraham was likely born in Gyöngyös.
Abraham's second marriage record (to Lena Mandel) from 1903 says that Abraham was born March 16, 1939 in Mad. At least the place, however, seems incorrect, since Abraham's father does not appear to have been living in Mád in 1939.
