From an old submission of lineage to the Hawkins Co. Genealogical and Historical Society in Rogersville, TN. states "Arthur and his wife Mary Sharpe Galbraith are buried in the family graveyard on the Galbraith Plantation in Carters Valley, Hawkins County, TN. The property is now owned by Bradley Blair. Their tombstones have scriptural epitaphs, but the stones are so defaced by time, they can hardly be read today. The graveyard is in a deplorable condition located on a hill in an open field". Note* Bradley Blair died in 1969 so this submission was before that date. LJS.
Revolutionary War Patriot - Arthur Galbraith was said to be attached to Bowen's Fincastle Company under Colonel Campbell at the Battle of Kings Mountain. There is no documented proof to substantiate this.
