Hannah was born in 1629. She is the daughter of Thomas Prence and Patience Brewster.

Eng. ca. 1627; d. at Eastham bet. 19 Dec. 1661 and 4 Feb. 1661; 2) at Eastham bet. 5 June 1667 and 11 Sept. 1671, Jonathan Sparrow, b. Eng. ca. 1633/4; d. at Eastham, 28 Oct. 1654, Rebecca Bangs; and 3) at Barnstable, 23 Nov. 1698, Sarah (Lewis) Cobb, wid. of James.[1]

Hannah, m. 1st, Feb. 13, 1649/50, Nathaniel Mayo, at Eastham, Barnstable, Massachusetts son of Rev. John and Thomasine Mayo. His will was proved March 4, 1661.
Hannah married. 2d, at Plymouth, Plymouth, Massachusetts, after 05 JUN 1667 as his second wife, Capt. Jonathan Sparrow, son of Richard and Pandora Sparrow[2], who d. March 21, 1706/7, age 73. Res. Eastham. Nath. Mayo was a prominent townsman and Jona. Sparrow was 'a deputy, representative and magistrate many yrs., also a military man.'[3]
