This person is an ancestor of President Gerald Rudolph Ford Jr.[1]

Rachel Waterbury was born about 1641 in Watertown, Massachusetts. She was 17 when her father died.

She married John Holmes on 11 Mar 1659 in Stamford, Connecticut. Their third of eleven children was Stephen.

In 1668, Rachel and her husband received from Joseph Garnie the portion (part of Lot 9 in Stamford, CT) due Rachel from the estate of her father, John Waterbury.

About 1681, Rachel and John moved to Bedford, New York.

Rachel died before her husband who died about 1714.
